The brain also needs a warm-up
How often did you expect your brain to start processing information and making a great outcome in a written work or any other form immediately? I am sure you have been there at least once. Interestingly, the brain, like every other muscle, needs a warm-up. It is slightly different from the one you do before the exercises.
There is no need to feel bad anymore for not being able to create a quality workpiece. It was because you didn’t know how to get yourself into a focus state. You won’t imagine how this excellent knowledge and simple daily practices can positively impact your performance and life. I learned about these processes from one of the best podcasts I have ever listened to. You MUST listen to it! Truly life-changing knowledge shared by Dr Andrew Huberman in a conversation with Rich Roll in The Rich Roll Podcast.
Dr Huberman is sharing his and other researchers' knowledge to teach you about neuroplasticity. For example, how can our brain and nervous system learn and acquire new capabilities in response to the experience, and how can you leverage this through focus, restorative sleep, and mindfulness, learning new skills and improving your well-being?
Our feelings, thoughts and memories are all very complicated but behaviors are very concrete. They are the “control panel” for the rest of it.
